Portrait of Dorian Leventis

Overview

Dorian Leventis is the field medic of Sigma Team, an armed opposition unit active on Altis during the early stages of The Poseidon Crisis. Unlike several of the fighters around him, Leventis does not come from a formal military background. His value inside the team comes from medical competence, steady nerves under pressure, and a willingness to remain close to violence without ever fully belonging to the warrior culture that surrounds it.

Leventis represents the kind of civilian participant drawn into the conflict not by ideology alone, but by the collapse of normal life on Altis. In a movement where many cells were short on structure and medical capability, someone who could keep wounded men alive became immediately useful.

Background

Dorian Leventis was born in the Republic of Altis and Stratis and came of age during the country’s worsening economic decline. Before becoming involved with the armed opposition, he worked in civilian-facing roles tied to emergency response and first-aid support, building practical experience treating injuries outside a formal military system.

As conditions on Altis deteriorated, work became less stable and public services grew less reliable. The same unrest that pushed others toward protest and militancy also exposed Leventis to the growing number of people needing treatment after clashes, shortages, and localized violence. Over time, his medical skill set brought him into contact with individuals linked to the broader Altian Opposition Networks.

He did not begin as a committed fighter. Instead, he appears to have been pulled gradually into the orbit of men who needed a medic more than they needed another rifle. That path helps distinguish him from figures like Andreas Markakis, whose relationship to violence was shaped more directly by prior armed service.

Role in Sigma Team

Within Sigma Team, Leventis serves as the unit’s medic and one of its more clearly civilian-origin members alongside hardened men such as Niko Lykos, Andreas Markakis, and Lukas Rigas. His presence reinforces the idea that the team is not made up only of ex-soldiers, but of men brought together by collapse, necessity, and local association.

In practical terms, Leventis helps the unit sustain itself during operations that would otherwise carry a higher risk of becoming fatal for lightly equipped insurgents. In a small four-man element, that role is especially important. A capable medic increases confidence, lengthens endurance, and gives commanders more room to accept operational risk.

He is not primarily portrayed as an eager aggressor. Instead, Leventis fits the pattern of a man who has accepted proximity to violence because circumstances, loyalties, and survival all narrowed the distance between treatment and participation.

That role also helps define his relationship to the others. Under Lykos, Leventis works inside a tight four-man grouping where Markakis provides the strongest formal military background and Rigas supplies a more civilian security-oriented kind of weapons familiarity. Leventis is the least martial of the four, which makes his inclusion important to the unit’s identity.

Role in the Poseidon Crisis

By 2025, Leventis had become part of the support layer that helped units like Sigma Team function more effectively than less organized opposition groups. His significance lies less in battlefield command than in what his presence says about the evolution of the insurgency. When local cells begin carrying trained medics, even informally trained ones, they are no longer acting like spontaneous street groups alone.

This matters within the broader crisis because it shows how the armed opposition was beginning to absorb useful civilian skill sets into increasingly capable formations. Figures such as Leventis reflect a transition point in which ordinary people were not only sympathizing with armed groups, but becoming essential to how those groups survived and operated.

Role in the Molos Diversion

Leventis remained part of Sigma Team’s surviving core during the April 13, 2025 operation in Molos, where the unit sabotaged local power infrastructure and then fought from a safe house while drawing police and AAF attention away from the nearby airfield. In that action, he was no longer simply a background medic attached to more aggressive men. He took part in the defense of the position, coordinated with the others under pressure, and helped hold the team together through an increasingly chaotic withdrawal.

This matters because it shows how far Leventis had moved from the margins of the conflict. He still represents a more civilian-origin path into the insurgency than figures such as Andreas Markakis, but by this stage he is clearly functioning as part of Sigma’s operational core rather than as a detached support specialist. His presence in the Molos action reinforces the idea that even the support-skilled men inside the opposition were now being drawn directly into missions tied to a much larger strategic design.

Profile

Dorian Leventis is a civilian-background field medic serving with Sigma Team during the early stages of the Poseidon Crisis. As a character, he helps show how the armed opposition on Altis drew in not only fighters, but also men with practical support skills whose presence made small units more durable, disciplined, and dangerous than they first appeared.
